1. Services
Mathema Prep provides online tutoring and academic support, primarily in mathematics and related subjects. Sessions are conducted online via Zoom unless otherwise arranged.
Tutoring is for educational support only and does not guarantee specific academic outcomes.
2. Booking, Payment & Pricing
Services are provided at the rates displayed at the time of booking. Rates vary based on session type, duration, promotional offers, or other factors.
Payment is required at the time of booking through our secure payment processor (Stripe).
Prices may change at any time, but confirmed bookings are honored at the rate paid.
Promotions & Discounts:
Occasional coupons or promotional pricing may be offered. These are time-limited or one-time use unless otherwise stated.
Parental Consent for Minors
Students under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use Mathema Prep's services. By booking tutoring services for a minor, the parent or guardian consents to the collection and use of information reasonably necessary to provide tutoring services and communicate regarding scheduling, billing, and academic progress.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made 24 or more hours before a session may be rescheduled at no additional cost.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session are charged in full.
Missed sessions (no-shows) are also charged in full.
Exceptions may be made at our discretion in emergency situations.
4. No Refund Policy
Payments are non-refundable once a session has been completed. For prepaid or unused sessions, rescheduling is encouraged where applicable under the cancellation policy.
5. Online Sessions (Zoom)
Sessions are conducted via Zoom using a unique meeting link for each appointment.
Students are expected to join on time and behave respectfully.
Recording of sessions is not permitted without prior written consent.
6. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy.
We may collect basic information such as:
Student name
Parent/guardian contact information (when applicable)
Email address
Scheduling and payment information
We use this information solely for:
Scheduling and conducting tutoring sessions
Communicating about appointments
Processing payments
We do not sell or share personal information for marketing purposes.
We use trusted third-party services such as:
Payment processing (Stripe)
Scheduling (Calendly)
Video conferencing (Zoom)
These providers handle data securely under their own privacy standards.
7. Children’s Privacy
Mathema Prep works with students under 18. We:
Use student information only for educational purposes
Encourage parent/guardian involvement
Do not collect unnecessary personal data beyond what is required for tutoring
8. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information using secure platforms and password-protected systems. However, no online system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
